Thank you … really THANK YOU as I called Chase after I saw your note about frozen credit report as I’ve done this for years since Equifax breach. Took 2 hours but I got the 2 cards (Amazon & Southwest) I’ve been fighting for to replace my personal credit card where Chase would not take my x’s name off account.

Chase sent me every month, you are pre approved and apply for our credit card. After thinking for almost year, I applied for this dirty extra chase card in my pocket and surprisingly no one can help you from there onwards. They run my credit check and no response even after a month. We’ll never able to speak to customer care in any way. It is WORST experience and I regret now for applying for this THUG-LAC credit card.

Chase is full of crap. I held on for over an hour trying to get the status of my application. I eventually hung up.

It’s laughable that they have a “Reconsideration” line. Talk about a pretentious credit card company. They’ll deny you even with great credit and zero late payments but leave the window open to kiss their feet and beg for their approval. Screw off, Chase.

Why do you require an application number when enrolling in an account, but won’t provide what the application number is. If you call support they will not give it to you. It is very frustrating that this is not explained anywhere.
